GISS Technology can be used to produce thick or very thin parts, as thin as 0.5 mm. Any alloy may be used with GISS Technology. Selected aluminum alloys can be die casted and then color anodized using GISS Technology. The picture below shows the surface quality of the anodized phone parts produced using GISS Technology in collaboration with LG Electronics, Inc. in Korea. Die soldering and hot tearing are reduced. In addition, GISS Technology yields less porosity.
