GISS Technology Was Presented at the 10th International Die Casting Seminar
Dr. Jessada Wannasin gave an invited lecture at the 10th International Die Casting Seminar 2016 in Ulsan, Korea, on October 5, 2016. The title of the lecture was "Reducing Porosity Defects and Production Costs in Die Casting by GISS Technology." The seminar is organized by KITECH, the second-largest research and technology support institute since its establishment in 1989. The seminar aims to share the latest technical information and research trends in the die casting industry. GISS Technology Has Entered China
GISSCO entered the Chinese die casting market in July 2016. Currently, several Chinese die casters are using GISS Technology to both improve casting quality through significant porosity reduction and reduce production costs via die life extension, cycle time reduction, and decreased energy consumption. Chinese die casters are currently using GISS Technology in mass production with die casting machine sizes ranging from 125-T to more than 3000-T machines.
GISSCO Presented GISS Technology at the High Tech Die Casting 2016 in Venice, Italy
GISSCO presented a paper at the High Tech Die Casting (HTDC) 2016 Conference in Venice, Italy, on June 22-23, 2016. GISSCO Received the 2015 AABI Torch Award for Technology Transfer
GISSCO won and received the 2015 AABI Torch Award for Technology Transfer. The award was given by the Asian Association of Business Incubation. The award ceremony was held in Daegu, Korea, on October 29, 2015. The AABI Torch Entrepreneur Awards aim to promote entrepreneurial activities by honoring an entrepreneur within an incubation program at AABI member countries or territories who has developed an outstanding innovation.
GISSCO’s Founder Won the 2014 Outstanding Technologist Award
GISSCO's founder, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jessada Wannasin, won Thailand's 2014 Outstanding Technologist Award for his work on the Slurry Metal Casting Technology (GISS Technology). The award was given by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of His Majesty the King to recognize Thai researchers with outstanding scientific achievements each year. Dr. Jessada received the award from Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on December 27, 2014.
