Case Studies
GISS Technology has been applied to various metals and alloys such as aluminum, magnesium, tin, copper, silver, and zinc. However, our main customers are in aluminum die casting for automotive parts.
Automotive die casters often face gas porosity, shrinkage porosity, and leak-related rejects, with reject rates as high as 10-40%, resulting in significant profit loss. After applying GISS Technology, these customers have reduced reject rates to single digits and decreased cycle times by 15-25%. Overall productivity has improved by 30-50%, and the die life has extended to over 300,000 cycles for some customers.
Over the past three years, we have worked with die casting parts ranging from 100 g to 60 kg, using machines from 125-T to 6,000-T. Many of these parts have been in mass production for more than three years.
